The first day of Troop Camp I was a bit nervous but as we started to build our camp site it wasn't as nerv wracking. We spend a lot of time building our camp site but after it, it was all with it. For the first 3 days it was very hard and every one was tired. I think every one got about 3 hours sleep that was not cool.

On the 4th night the scouters blind folded us and took us somewhere in the forest. The Juniors and Seniors were taken to different destinations. We all had to make our own shelter, cook our own food and keep ourselves occupied. That night most of the scouts had a nice long sleep and every one was nice and fresh in the morning but we had to fight the cold too and that was a bit hard because some people forgot a jacket or something to keep them warm.

In the morning we all met up and walked back to our campsite and had our scouts own. For the scouts own we walked to the other side of the river and had a nice talk. While we walked to the otherside we had to look and observe natural stuff. When we finished our talk we walked back and started to prepare for our international food evening. We had to cook 3 meals: starters, main and dessert.

The 4 patrol coutries were Russia, Tieland, Mexico and Greese. 4 interanational food evening we had to feed special guests.

After the food evening we had a movie night and it was realy cool. We wathced "Yes Man". Then we wen to sleep. The next morning the scouters served us breakfast and then we had an inspection. It was Kyles Birthday and we sang for him. For lunch we had a really awesome watermelon fight and then we swam. After swiming we had to go to basses.

Troop Camp 2010 has been awesome! Of course it has had its ups and downs. Some of the downs were all the cuts and less sleep, but lets not focus on the bad but the good. All the good food, fun activities and spending time with your friends. There were fun activities such as rounders and the wide game. They woke us up early in the morning to re-enact the cold war and the Russians won. The camp standards are about 80%. The competition is close between the Lions and the Eagles. There weren't enough Seagulls so they were split up. All the new scouts have received their names and have their logs. Troop Camp has been fun, but I can't wait to get home.

It was an awesome experience to explore into a different country's culture and attempt to make food for the scouters and us scouts. We dressed up in Greek clothing and had two "servants" serving. We had the Troop Scouter and the DC sit with us along with Dianne & Morgan. It was interesting and fun, delicious and festive. 2010 International food evening was the best at the Buffalo's patrol.
